The industrial-grade printers are constructed on a steel chassis with a tough metal case for industrial durability. Two model choices provide a 203dpi or 300dpi "near-edge" type printhead offering long-life and reduced running costs. Features include a side-opening cover, double ribbon motor control, auto-centering media loading, ability to use popular label print programs like Bartender, but also able to print from PDFs without special drivers. The unique ribbon saving feature can save up to 75% of the print ribbon when adding variable print to partially printed labels.
There is an optional dash cutter or rotary cutton the fly cutter for the 4-inch models and a dash cutter for the 6-inch model.
Connectivity options include WiFi and Bluetooth.
They can take ribbon lengths up to 800M long so to reduce ribbon changeover frequency.
The model range incorporates a user-replaceable snap-in printhead and platen roller, further reducing maintenance costs
