The Toshiba ScanSure barcode checker / validator is a quality managers dream.
It attaches to the Toshiba Tec EX4 or EX6 series barcode label printers then reads and checks each barcode label printed 100% of barcodes are checked.
It avoids the risk of sending out any bad barcodes that may cause problems with your customers.
You can demonstrate that ever barcode label you send out on your products or packaging is correct to Ansi standards.
For EX4T2 models the printer can be set to be paused in the event that bad barcode(s) are detected say if a printhead fails or ribbon gets creased for example.
For the EX4T1 model with the ribbon save head lift feature and i/o control board fitted its possible for the SanSure to detect a faulty label and reverse and void out block printing on the label and carry on printing good labels without stopping. Any bad labels being then easy to spot and can be replaced.

Which solution is right for me?
Each company has unique workflows, processes and needs.
Depending on what you need to meet your customer mandates,
ScanSure offers you two options… Fast Mode and Void Mode.
Both modes can be used using the same ScanSure kit that comes
with everything you need to easily mount the solution in front of
your Toshiba B-EX printer (requires ribbon-save module to be fitted
to the printer & expansion IO port).
Fast Mode:
Validates the barcode using ISO 15416 & ISO 15415 based checks
and ensures the barcode on your label is readable giving you peace
of mind.
Void Mode:
A step further... If the barcode fails to meet the passing
requirements set using the ISO based checks,
