The SCL-4000D from SwiftColor utilises a new kind of "single pass" print head technology developed by print experts Canon capable of blistering print speeds up to 8" per second (200mm/s) and giving stunning, vivid colour labels at a resolution of 1200dpi. The SCL-4000D makes use of four large 240ml capacity CMYK dye based ink cartridges meaning that the need to regularly replace consumables is reduced and printing costs are kept to a minimum. Packaged in a compact black plastic case, the SCL-4000D is ideal for use in both office and factory environments.
The SCL-4000D uses dye based ink which while giving a high quality vibrant print is not UV stable and will fade over time. It also only offers minimal resistance to moisture and chemicals. If your application requires more durable, long-lasting labels then you may wish to consider the SCL-4000P as an alternative, this uses pigment based inks for improved light-fastness and durability.

- #WARRANTY# This SwiftColor product is supplied with a 12 month return-to-base parts and labour warranty. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the product to KTEC's workshops for repair under warranty. The provision of a loan printer for the period of any repairs is not covered by this warranty. The warranty is not an "on-site" service. On-site service options are available at additional cost.
